China’s emerging environmental protection industry
The environmental protection industry that has grown up in China over the last twenty years is now worth around RMB 4500 billion, according to estimates by the National Development and Reform Commission.
In the 13th Five Year Plan, 2016-2020, there will be reform in China’s economic development, putting forward the idea of green development. The scale, structure and technology of the environmental protection industry, and the extent of the market, will be greatly improved, bringing opportunities and challenges for environmental protection companies.
